The new moon in Cancer brings encouragement to embrace new beginnings. With this new moon, you may feel more intuitive. Be sure to trust your intuition. Nourish yourself and place a focus on self-care. Do activities that bring you comfort. This is a perfect time to cuddle and calmly play with your familiar.

Our emotions play an important part when it comes to this Cancer new moon. Cancer energy places a focus on our emotions. Our emotions provide us with information and wisdom. How are you feeling? What does this feeling tell you? What can you learn about your feelings? Get curious without judging yourself, and your emotions. Just embrace your emotions without the need to change or fix them. Cancer energy flows (like water). Let your emotions flow, let yourself experience your emotional wave.

Our animals can assist with our ability to feel safe to experience our emotions. If you need some insight into emotions you may be hiding or repressing, consider what emotions you notice your animal experiencing. Fear, anxiety, stress, aggression, frenzied, overwhelmed? These can be common emotions we see our animals experience. Often they are mirroring our own emotions back to us. Emotions we don't even realize we have or are trying to hide. Take some time to get curious about your dog's or cat's emotions and what they are trying to communicate to you.
